Hi! I'm Kristie.

Thanks for visiting.  I'm a part-time stay-at-home mom, part-time Speech-Language Pathologist and married to my best friend.  I feel so blessed in life.  Our one-year-old daughter is so much fun and has the sweetest disposition. My husband and I met on eHarmony and couldn't have been better matched.

I created this blog to document family moments and my love to create things.  I have enjoyed occasional knitting for five years now.  I'm hoping to expand on my skills and make more than scarves, baby booties, and baby sweaters.

I have always enjoyed sewing and once took a quilting class.  I made a few quilts and baby blankets over the years but my sewing machine was usually collecting dust.  Recently, I was bit by the garment making bug, BIG TIME!  First I started with refashioning clothes for my daughter and then I decided to try a pattern for the first time.  I made my daughter's 1st Christmas dress.  Now, with new sewing machine, dress form, sewing nook and lots of patterns. . . I'm definitely addicted.  I'll be adding to my wardrobe one pattern at a time.
